April 2001

Greetings all,
Again, it was good to see some more new faces at the last meeting. It was, however, decided at the last meeting to reduce the number of meetings held over the winter so April’s meeting will be the last for a couple of months. Thus if you haven’t attended a meeting yet this is your last chance for a while. Also discussed at March’s meeting was the topic for the upcoming April meeting – The humble Venus Flytrap. Accordingly, there will be a selection of different types of Venus Flytrap on display as well as a discussion on their cultivation and propagation at the next meeting. Hopefully there will also be a few specimens of the more unusual varieties available for sale.
